WHAT TO BRING?

Bring you. Wherever you're at, forest therapy and your guide will meet you there. Sessions are very low-impact and suitable for all levels of physical fitness and adaptable for several mobility challenges. Wild Calm is committed to showcasing the inclusivity of forest therapy and making sure all feel safe, welcome, and comfortable in nature.

Dress for the weather. And then add a layer or two! Forest therapy walks are S-L-O-W. This was hard for me at first, but the more I am able to slow myself down when I need to, the more relaxed I feel. Since we aren't generating much warmth, I recommend layers to stay cozy.

Bring yourself, but leave your phone off. As a photographer, I resisted this, but we give ourselves so few opportunities to really take a break from our tech. I invite you to give it a try.

You'll be offered a series of invitations designed to connect you to your senses and your surroundings, which are entirely yours to interpret. Some of these will be to share as much or as little as feels right for you.
