Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Alberta, I've decided to temporarily suspend in-person forest therapy walks - your safety and wellbeing are my top priorities as your guide.
In order to continue supporting community mental and physical health, I am offering my guided sessions virtually in the meantime. This means you can join from your favourite forest or park (or even your home or yard) via Zoom. These sessions are 1.5h - shorter than my in-person walks. I've offered over 25 guided virtual walks since the onset of the pandemic. This practice has been shown to reduce stress and has a variety of health benefits you can see on the "Why Try FT?" page of this website. I've also received feedback that virtual sessions help participants feel connected and supported during this time of isolation and anxiety.
