Fern Glades Guided Forest Therapy Experience

$89.00

Experience Alberta’s largest fern glades through the gentle practice of guided forest therapy.

Slow down and reconnect with nature through a 3-hour guided forest therapy session. This experience is designed to awaken the senses and support a deeper connection to both the natural world and your own embodied presence.

Our time together as we have exclusive access to this spectacular private property will include a guided meditation, a very slow-paced wander through a forested area (with large ostrich ferns, towering trees, a stream with wooden bridges, and a view of the lake), gentle sensory invitations, and a peaceful tea ceremony featuring fresh-foraged tea and premium treats from a small local business.

This site is conducive to a variety of mobility challenges, as it features wide paths covered in wood chips, benches at points along the trail, and the option for rides up and down the gentle hill to the forest we will be exploring. We move very slowly and this gentle practice is welcoming to all bodies and levels of physical fitness.

There is a minimum group size of FIVE for this session to run. Registration will close 48h before the event.

All registered participants will receive an email detailing the directions to the meeting place, which is approximately 1h from Edmonton, near Westerose, AB.
